Pink Leotard for juniors up to and including Grade 1.

I make, keep and re-use the costumes, so I am going to be making skirts etc for these dances (let me know if you’d like to help with cutting/sewing!). I will gussie-up the outfits with pretty $2-shop hairclips and ribbons as well. Costume hire is $20, unless you have helped with sewing.
Hair:
Hair in a bun with fringe back off face.

MAKEUP:
This should be natural and wholesome-looking - no drag queen looks please! No need for foundation/powder, flicked eyeliner, blue eyeshadow, heavy blusher or dark lips - just be sweetly pretty-looking.
Eyebrows: unless your dancer’s eyebrows are very dark, please darken them with pencil.
Eyes: a neutral brownish shadow on the lid. Emphasise the upper lash line: use mascara, eyeliner pencil or wet-brush-applied dark eyeshadow - whatever is easiest.
Blush: on the apples of the cheeks - no racing stripes.
Lips: a little shine. Clear or natural-coloured gloss or balm.
(Teens may wear slightly heavier makeup.)
